Strawberry Cream Dahlia Tuber
Perhaps a new favorite! Long strong stems, prolific blooms of the perfect size for mixed bouquets, and a gorgeous color that's perfect for everyday bouquets and wedding work alike!
Strawberry Cream is just so fancy looking. The small formal decorative bicolor is just so well put together. The coloring is luminous and there are so many details in the center of the flowers as the white tipping of each petal stands in contrast to the glowing pink emanating from the center of each flower. And while I usually don't like freckled and speckled flowers (though those are my favorite kinds of eggs) these aren't messy looking, they just add depth and dimension.
There is a small proportion of off-types, as is true with pretty much every bicolor I've ever grown, but even they are lovely. (There are a few photos of them near the end.)
