100 yards of the softest, strongest, most lustrous red mohair yarn! We use the word "red" to describe the color, as that's the breeding term to describe the color of the animal. The color is really a warm, radiant, medium brown.
Finding 100% mohair is rare, as it's tricky to mill, just like a goat would be! The fibers are so soft and slick they often fall off the milling equipment, but I've found a wonderful processor who knows just how to do it! The colors are undyed--so we've got goats running around in the very colors you see--no color bleeding or fading here!
All our animals are raised out on green growing pasture, with fresh air, clean water, and a bit of shade in the summer.
