I'm smitten. Sweet Sanne was new for me in 2023, and I'm in love.
These big bushy plants with lovely dark stems are gorgous! While the blooms are on the later side, they're abundant and totally magical. Forgive the photo with the grasshopper chomp marks--but I had to share these beautiful pink pinstripes that appear when you get close in. The peachy-mauve coloring is perennially popular and that smokey mauve eye is so packed with petals I never once saw an open center. So beautiful.
Blooms are four to six inches, and have that lovely symmetry of a formal decorative. They make great, long lasting cuts.
