Jowey Nicky Dahlia Tuber
A beautiful little 3-4 inch light blend ball with coloring ranging from pale peachy pink through the most delightful sunset orange/yellow hues.
She's a great cut, with lots of tall stems, and on the early side, too, and pretty darn tolerant of poor soil and erratic moisture (their bed had some issues this year). But NIcky was undaunted!
Real talk, I'm a sucker for this color--the whole sunset-coral thing that happens in some blooms might actually break my heart open a little each time I see it. And she's a great size for arranging, with good, long-strong stems. The flowers are also quite tolerant of all kinds of weathers, which is so handy in these days of climate crisis.
