Hillcrest Suffusion is a beautiful, peachy, light blend, ball dahlia. Deep in the throat of each petal is a warm honey gold that makes the blooms glow from within. Just stunning. And I love how her petals are a bit pointed, they give the bloom a really great texture in bouquets. A very popular color.
Size can vary from 3-6 inches, which is quite large for a ball dahlia, and just stunning when you come across a big one in the field. The smaller ones are easier to work with, and I'd say the majority are in the 4+ area.
She's tall and fully loaded with usable stems all season. Also, she's usually one of the earliest dahlias to bloom in our field, which, in our short seasons, is a major bonus.
