Sweet Fabienne Dahlia Tuber
Sweet Fabienne is maybe the perfect pink ball? A sport of Linda's Baby, Sweet Fabienne has sweet little pinking-shears petal tips, and is a similar size, at 3 inches. A great, useable and sturdy ball form, this dahlia is was also one of our very first to bloom this year, and I do love an early bloomer in our northern climate!
The color is a sweet cool pink and very occasionally they would throw a blushier tone. These plants are medium sized and incredibly productive. Off of 25 plants this season, we would often harvest 100-125 blooms per week. So freaking good. The ball form is great, too, because they're durable against all kinds of weather and most every stem was saleable, even after rain and wind.
Also the frogs loved them this year. :)
